When someone is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, it is because they have made a positive impact, whether it be disarmament, peace negotiation, or defending human rights. When the prize is accepted, it shows great gratitude and is seen as a step towards ending injustice and creating world peace. When Elie Wiesel and Malala Yousafzai accepted their prize, they gave emotional, yet motivating speeches about overcoming their injustice. Elie Wiesel has experienced severe injustice firsthand.
