A twenty-year-old psychology student, Moriah Nesbitt is pursuing a degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is 5'7 and is mixed black and white. Her hometown is Lisle, Illinois. In her family, she is the middle child out of four siblings. Her goal is to earn her master's degree in forensic psychology and work in the field of law once she has graduated. As a hobby, she enjoys watching television, when she has free time. After watching a television show called NCIS, she developed a strong interest in psychology as well as her brother who also wants her to enjoy life and be successful. Ducky also inspired her to become a forensic psychologist, which gave her even more interest in this field. The characters of Abby and Ducky helped Moriah steer in the direction of majoring in forensic psychology. In addition to watching NCIS, her brother has a positive outlook on her. His strong morals have left a big mark on her since he’s in the Marines. “I’ve just been trying to do my best to follow his example of being positive,” Moriah said. Also, seeing her brother change because of his religion made Moriah want to do the same. His strong belief in being closer to God made Moriah think more about her own ideas, and started her own beliefs. As Moriah embraced her faith, she has received joy and fulfillment, but also guidance to help her achieve her aspirations and goals. Her brother's example gave her strength, purpose, and a deeper connection to her beliefs in life. Lastly, Moriah’s experience has been good at ULM.
