1.6 Scope of the Study
This study is mainly design for students from Multimedia University who also act as a customer in their daily life. This study mainly focuses on the influence of background music on their purchasing intention. Those who were not involved in any trading before will excluded from this research. As an ethical researcher, the personal details of our respondents will not be disclosed to any outsider or third party.
1.7 Operational Definition (i) Slow tempo music – musical selections with a tempo of 72 beats per minute or fewer as slow (Ronald E. Milliman, 1982) (ii) Fast tempo music – musical selections with a tempo of 94 beats per minute or more as fast (Ronald E. Milliman, 1982) (iii) Between fast and slow tempo music- musical selection with a tempo between the range from 73 to 94 beats per minute (Ronald E. Milliman, 1982)
