Trivial Pursuit is a newcomer in the board game market but has become very popular with the young urban professionals who play it leisure time or with friends. As for chess, checkers and Chinese checkers most Americans know how to play them or have them at home. Board games became very popular in Canada then America in which it appears that this style of entertainment is a family favorite.
