c. Elijah was the Prophet of Fire, and he was used by God to tear down idol worship, and bring Israel back to the worship of 1 God
d. And throughout the scriptures, God used many prophets, and even angels to declare that he alone is God, both creator and savior, orchestrator and redeemer
2. Some Look to the days of the ancient prophets and they marvel, thinking the times of the prophets were of greater glory and power. And Honestly, I could understand...
a. To witness the Red Sea part, and Moses lead the children of Israel to deliverance
b. To watch the walls of Jericho fall flat as Joshua takes the promise land
c. To see King David usher in the presence of the Lord as he recovers the ark
d. To behold fire fall from heaven as Elijah proves that the Lord (Jehovah) he is God
e. To share in the Joy as the temple is rebuilt, under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah
3. However, Moses would give anything to be in ours shoes. Elijah would trade the fire falling, for an opportunity to live in the day that we are in! We Are Living In The GREATEST HOUR. WE ARE LIVING IN THE FULFILMENT OF THE PROPHETIC WORD OF GOD!
