The first and most influential religion is Christianity. Christianity currently has about 2.2 billion followers around the world. Started by Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Christians believe that Jesus is the God in the human flesh and that he died for everyone’s sins. With that, everyone one owes God everything including time, worship, and praise. They also believe that they are saved by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8), meaning there it is not by doing works that gets them in heaven, rather it is by believing that Jesus is God and he died for everyone’s sins. The second religion is the youngest out of the world's major religions, Islam. Islam’s origins is credited to Muhammad, a prophet who believed he had an angelic vision (Origin Of Islam).
