You play a part in a team and you need to help out in any way possible to help your team succeed. When looking at a team from the outside you can see what team members play a part in the team and who fails the team. If you see someone that just plays through the motions, he/she fails to grasp any commitments to the team and probably doesn’t want to partake on the team either. When you see someone like this on a team or even your team, you don’t want that person on your team. He/she just brings down your team. The point of a team; everyone turned to the same page and the same word in the same book, and they all get along and work together. Knowing the types of commitments a person needs to make to a team creates success.
One of the commitments you can make to a team includes committing to the teams success and to the team. If you commit to the team and to the teams success you create a bond with the team itself. When you celebrate with the team on its success you also strengthen the bond with the team. This type of commitment gives you the overall happiness that the team receives and gives, and the success of the team. An example of this type of commitment is when someone is always there for practice always giving it their all. Establishes a positive attitude towards every accomplishment that the team makes. will bring the team closer together and make the team work together better.
Next, you examine the commitments to the success of each other and each others success. When making this commitment you want to know everyone personally, such as knowing what they like and don’t like. What they prefer and things of such sorts.
