Atenolol, or Tenormin is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to prevent chest pain and improve survival after a heart attack. It is in a class of medications called beta blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure. Atenolol comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once or twice a day. To help you remember to take atenolol, take it around the same time every day. Clonazepam, or Kolonopin, is used alone or in combination with other medications to control certain types of seizures. It is also used to relieve panic attacks. Clonazepam is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Clonazepam comes as a tablet and an orally dissolving tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken one to three times a day with or without food. Take clonazepam at around the same time every day. Mobic, or Meloxicam, is used to relieve pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Mobic is also used to relieve the pain, and stiffness caused by children rheumatoid arthritis in children 2 years of age and older. Mobic is in a class of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation.
