Psychedelics was a common theme of the 60’s and
70’s but it influenced the artist the most. Through the drastic changes 60’s counterculture made it paved the way for the new music and artwork of the psychedelic era. One artist in particular;
Victor Moscoso captured and helped create the bright and bold movement that was the psychedelic era. The Psychedelic art movement of the 60’s and 70’s can best be characterised by its use of type to create illegible imagery and its bright saturated colors, and something special that came later on, the use of photo collages
originating from Victor Moscoso.
Victor Moscoso was one of the first in the psychedelic movement to incorporate photography into their artwork. He started off living in
