Some superhero origins are more plausible than others. A very good example of this is Tony Stark or Iron-man, he has no super powers of his own. Instead he created a suit of immense power. This suit can fly, has a barrage of assorted weapons and is incredibly hi-tech. Just as he has no powers, he also has no weird weaknesses. He suffers from more normal problems. He is an alcoholic, he is hugely arrogant and a textbook narcissist. These qualities make him more relatable to the average man. He is one of the most realistically possible superheroes.
The sixth story is about Steve Rogers or Captain America. His powers were synthetically obtained. During World War Ⅱ he was chosen for an experiment attempting to create the perfect soldier. He was chosen for his courage and perseverance. He was injected with a serum that altered his physical state to give him incredible strength and reflexes. His weaknesses are different from that of other super heroes. His only weakness is that he is human, which makes him more permeable to wounds. He was created to be a very courages and respectable character. This is because he was created during World War Ⅱ, in the comics he was fight Hitler and the Nazis. He was created to help bring hope about the war to the children back in America. He was just an average person who wanted to do anything possible to help his country. These characteristics are what made him favored by so many readers, he went to war for his country like so many men were doing at the time.
The fifth character is Matt Murdock or Daredevil. When he was a boy he wandered into a construction zone where he had toxic waste spill on him. The waste blinded him but, it also heightened his other senses. Obviously his greatest weakness is his blindness. This makes him a more popular character because, it makes him seem more like a normal person. Other than that he was made to have no fear. This alone is a weakness, fear drives many things in life. It gives perspective on potentially dangerous situations. Fear cancan make a person who they are.
Now the fourth origin and weakness belongs to Bruce Banner or The Hulk. While working as a physicist test gamma bombs he saw a kid accidentally wander into the testing field. Banner runs to help him, he pushes the kid into a near by bunker, causing him to get the blast of the gamma bomb. Absorbing so much radiation should have killed him, but instead it gave him incredible powers. With his powers comes great mental troubles. His new powers cause him to develop schizophrenia. I feel this is a disorder that not many people know a lot about. It creates a character that people sympathize with.
The hero with the third most interesting story is Marc Spector or Moon Knight. Marc was on a military mission in the Egyptian dessert when he was beaten almost to death. Some native Egyptians found him and took him the the temple of the night god. The god came to Marc in a vision
