It violates that provision because: section one says that if any football coach abuses a child shall be sentenced to death. However with the 8th amendment in play it stops that from happening. It forbids from any cruel and unusual punishments to happen to anyone no matter the crime they have committed. It violates that provision because they cant have their sentence double unless they are given a trial for it. No one can be sent to jail unless they are first sent to trail to be judged for their crime. Even if they refuse to plead guilty with no proof they still have to go through the process. The process where everyone is entitles to a speedy trial.

It violates that provision because: a person cant be punished with the same sentence twice. It breaks the no double jeopardy law. If a person who has abused a child has done the sentence for it then they cant charge him again. They have to charge him with something else now if they want to punish
