9th Grade Analysis

With the first semester of 9th grade finished, I have learned a lot of things. This semester was a lot different

than I initially thought it was gonna be. Throughout this essay I will talk about some of the the things that I

wish I could tell my past self about knowing the state I'm in right now.

Dear past self, the first piece advice I have to give you is to be more careful with your grades. You overall got

ok grades with a bunch of A's and B's until exams came around. After exams in some of my classes like

world geography and Spanish slipped down. During this semester you need to pay more attention to your

grades and do one of these two things. You either have to find a new way to study for your exams so you do

Hopefully this will raise your grades higher so you have a higher GPA and

when you apply for college they will see improvement from a 2.86 last semester.

As well as your grades some other advice I have to give you is to be more outgoing. Going into this school

year you were a nervous wreck because you never wanted to come to this school. You were so worried about

what people thought of you when you should have been thinking about yourself not anyone else. You need to

realize that you are who you are and no one else's opinion about you matters. So you should talk to people

more and you should not be so self conscious if someone doesn't like you because that is their problem not

yours.

The last piece of advice I have for my past self is to do more activities. Similar to the last topic you were very

shy and you were worried if you went out for something you would be turned down and people would make

fun of you. Seeing where I am at now I really wish that I went out for more activities. I may have enjoyed my

time at Jesuit more if I tried more stuff. I should have tried things like SADD club or crew or something to

make me enjoy school more. So my advice to you is too let loose more and join more teams and
