In “A Call for Confidence”, the audience is all the girls in college. The logo is effective. For example, in the introduction paragraph, Bennett lists the area where the confidence plays an important role, such as sports and academic studies, so that she can conclude it is vital to building confidence for women.
Also, I think the ethos is effective. Since Nolen-Hoeksema and Judith Beck are the experts in the psychological and the business areas, their opinions about women lacking self-confidence and the existed confidence gap are reliable.
Another instance of effective ethos tactic is sharing her personal experience about the joining the “I am that girl” organization. This experience proves that the need for enhancing girl’s confidence and
