What is true love to you? Is it not hiding things from each other, caring about well-being and happiness, or no matter what having someone to count on? When you ask someone to define true love they even have to stop, pause and think for a minute? True love can perhaps have many different meanings for different kinds of people. Knowing what true love is can be helpful to people who need to know how to treat their family, wife, friends, or their loved one. The love of Romeo and Juliet shows a definition of true love, which they go through sword fights, banishment, marriage and death to find at the end that they still love each other. Friar John then comes to Friar Lawrence apologizing that he didn't complete the task of delivering the letter to Romeo. Friar John explains to him that people believed he was carrying a plague and he was then forced to be locked in a house so it would not spread. “Leave me and do the thing I bid thee do. Hast thou no letters to me from?(V. i. 31-32) ”Friar Lawrence knows that Romeo has no idea about whats going on, and that he is going to be very sad. So, Romeo goes to Juliet's tomb when he finds out she is dead. Romeo then drinks a poison and hopes to die so he can be with his love. When Juliet wakes up she sees Romeo dead beside her tomb. Juliet then kisses Romeo’s lips and she hopes to die like him. The poison did not work, so she takes Romeo’s stagger and stabs herself with it. The story of Romeo and Juliet: No Fear Shakespeare shows that the love Romeo and Juliet have for each other is true love. Throughout this story Romeo and Juliet go through anything to be with each other. They went through miserable sword fights, tough banishments, hardship marriages, and sad death. “For fear of that, I still will stay with thee, and never from this palace of dim night Depart again”(V. iii. 115-117).
