Friar John then comes to Friar Lawrence apologizing that he didn't complete the task of delivering the letter to Romeo. Friar John explains to him that people believed he was carrying a plague and he was then forced to be locked in a house so it would not spread. “Leave me and do the thing I bid thee do.
