In the book « A Mango Shaped Space », Wendy Mass is telling the story of a 13 year old girl who is thought to be a normal kid, the only difference is that she doesn’t look at numbers and letters the same way most of us humans do. In every one of them she sees colour. For example, in her name she might see sun-yellow colour with red dots. She is in a time of her life where she is confused and doesn’t know if these colours that she sees is reality. She faced public humiliation when she was 8 years old when she said in front of her class that she can see colours in the words and numbers on the board.
