While, I had not given though to the sample population size I would use when retesting for reliability, the A-SHARP was derived from a sample of 512 individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s been my work experience that individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a congregated residency or participating in a sheltered work program encounter or are labeled as the instigator of a conflict situation more often than an individual residing in a family home or working in a community job and therefore would retest at a high frequency due to convenience of situations that may present for which data can be obtained.
