Could you imagine Cristiano Ronaldo playing soccer with a skull or a pig's bladder. Well if i saw him doing that, I would think it would be a lot harder for him because it would bounce in all different directions instead of the soccer ball today going whatever way you kick it. Also if he used a soccer ball like a skull or a pig's bladder then I don't know if he would be as good as he is today. It also could of damaged his foot because if he kicked it in the wrong way then he could of had permanent injuries. So then he might not of been the way he is today. A huge challenge for soccer was all the different kinds of soccer. What would you choose if you had to choose between a skull or a pig's bladder?
The earliest types of soccer balls were often used by skulls. These were sometimes hurtful to the kids feet because if there were little poky spots that they kicked would often poke right through there skin. Sometimes if the kids found a good skull they were very lucky. Later on they used a pig's bladder which would often break because they were so soft. They liked the skull because they were easy to find the skulls. Although if you found a pig’s bladder and glued it a lot then left it there for about a day or two then it would be a lot more stable then it would be right when you found it.
