First off, you may be thinking "Why the escalator?" I know we have so much more to offer in this world, but this invention actually helps me personally, and possibly other people have shared the same experience. I remember in fourth and fifth grade that we had to walk four flights of stairs in order to get to our classrooms everyday, plus three more times up and down to get to lunch, connections, and dismissal. They even made you go down the stairs if you had a small injury or asthma attack, which at that school, I had quite a lot of them. Crazy, right? What about elevators?" Well they aren't exactly the best choice either. Why? They can get stuck, and you could be trapped in there. What if a celebrity were to get stuck in one and miss their concert? They would lose money. What if someone got stuck after hours? They would have to spend a night of horrors inside an elevator! What if someone claustrophobic were to get stuck? You would basically have to send them to an insane asylum after!
