First, Nicole asked AHO members what their needs would be. Teri explained programs are a limited entry and require an application. We are looking at a student population that have completed the majority of their pre-requisites and they are trying to get into a limited entry program. However, they are lacking presentation and interview skills. Teri suggested giving students a referral card.

Students with a resume can drop in and the CS staff will help get students going. However, Nicole and Tiffany recommended a student making an appointment for a mock interview, so they could prepare questions for the various programs. There are five CS individuals available to students.
Daniel shared he referred 20 MCS program students to Career Services. Daniel explained he gives each student his/her program interview date with CS resource referral information and the CS website link -- -> https://web.roguecc.edu/career-services.
Everybody agreed that the CS webpage is a great resource for students that may be struggle on what training or program will be the best career fit.
Nicole is happy to come into classes; however, she would prefer to have one large group for workshops.
Next, discussion that students are required to take BA109 Ready, Set, and Work and getting guidance from the CS department would be beneficial too. Although, there may be different resume messaging between BA109 and CS.
Please notify Nicole if you have a large group of students that will need resume review, so she can schedule CS resources. This will provide quality service to AHO program
