Even the strongest feelings expire when ignored and taken for granted. Abby and I had been together for nearly 6 months. We had begun to like each other more than ever, so they decided to meet each other's parents. We had met at church when they were kids and were friends for their whole life and no they are 19 and they decided to date. I knew my parents would never approve, the only thing they want for me is to get good grades. We had decided to meet Abby’s parents who live in Frankfurt, Germany which was about a 5 and a half hour drive in my old Ford Taunus.
“You ready to go Adam?” shouted Abby.
I responded from the upstairs bathroom of Abby’s apartment, “Just a minute.”
Adam walked down the stairs and met Abby at the bottom. We rushed to the car because we wanted to get their before sundown, hopped in the Taunus, and began their journey together.
“You dig Elvis?” I asked.
“Yes, he’s my favorite!” Abby shouted
“Me too!” I responded to abby.
