Abdullah, who is deeply attached with Pari and has formed an inseparable bond after their mother’s death, Abdullah is both a father and motherly figure to Pari. He acts like a mother to Pari in such activities like changing her diapers, gets up with her at night and sings a lullaby in order to send her to sleep. His intense love for Pari gets displayed when he treads the only pair of shoes to a boy in replace of peacock’s hair only to see happiness in the eyes of Pari. Abdullah’s love for her sister is immeasurable. When Abdullah’s father takes Pari with him and asks Abdullah to stay back at home and not to come along.
