Understanding Aboriginal culture is something that is very close to my heart as my husband and son are both proud Aboriginals from the Kamilaroi tribe. Aboriginal culture derives from the dreaming. Aboriginal culture is one of the oldest continuing culture of Australia and the world. “Aboriginal people have a rich culture involving a custom, lore and value system based on the sustainability of their spiritual connection, belonging, obligation and responsibility to care for their land, people and their environment” (Anon, 2016).
