In the article, Fetal Development, the National Department of Health and Human Services argues that a fetus becomes a human right when it’s conceived. By the second trimester the fetus’s organs work. At 3 months a baby is capable of living on its own (1). The second trimester is after the first 3 months. Essentially, at 3 months, which is only 12 weeks, you are still able to abort a child. The baby can live on its own at this time. Killing a human being is murder and with abortion that is basically what you’re doing . Everyday people go to jail for murdering someone, but women who have this procedure done don’t. Pastor Mark Driscoll writes, “Federal legislation forbids the murder of an unborn baby” (What do 55 Million People Have in Common? This means that mothers who abort babies are committing crime, but are not being persecuted or going to jail for that. In the same article, Driscoll reports that Andrew Weldon is going to jail because he gave his wife an abortion pill without her consent. The reason he is going to jail is because he killed an unborn child. But isn’t that what mothers do all the time? They do not get charged for murder. People never hear of mothers going to jail for the murder of an unborn child. In the article, Abortion is Murder, it states, “...abortion fits the definition of murder, namely, ‘Illegal killing with malice aforethought.”(huppi.com ) This shows that the definition of murder relates to abortion. Mothers are deliberately killing their unborn child with force. In the article, Medical Testimony, according to Abort73, “Every new life begins at conception. This is an irrefutable fact of biology…No matter what the circumstances of conception, no matter how far along in the pregnancy, abortion always ends the life of an individual human being”. This means that A baby is a human being right at contraception. A baby, no matter in what stage of your pregnancy you’re in, is a human being.
