Four passenger planes were hijacked by 19 men. These men caused the death of nearly 3,000 people. Two of the planes were intentionally crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center. One of the other planes was crashed into the Pentagon. The final plane was taken over by passengers who crashed it into a field in Pennsylvania in order to save other lives.
