In this essay, I will be talking about the cruelty of the Acadian Expulsion, which started in 1755 and ended in 1760. I will be talking about the causes and consequences that came with the Acadian Expulsion.
The reason behind The Acadian Expulsion came as a shock to all. In 1730, the British and Acadians finally agreed. If the Acadians signed an oath declaring their loyalty to the British king, they would not have to fight with the British against the French. The Acadians became known as “the neutral French.” In 1755, the French and the British were on the verge of a war.
