Introduction
The World is using up non-renewable assets; correctly the fossil powers. Henceforth, an option, Renewable Energy, is quickly assuming control over its place. Renewable Energy is a vitality that is regularly recharged from renewable assets, for example, daylight (sun oriented), wind, downpour, tides, waves and geothermal high temperature. Be that as it may, in this report our center is just on two of these assets which are Solar Energy and Wind Energy.
Sunlight based Energy is bridled when the daylight comes into contact with sun powered photovoltaic. In spite of the fact that the set-up expense (or speculation) of Solar Energy framework is high, over the long haul it brings a finer Return on Investment (ROI). Hence, Solar Energy

• It is not harmful towards the environment and does not harm the birds and/or wildlife as well.
• People living in rural areas could install their own windmills and generate electricity for their personal consumption.
Pakistani Perspective of Wind Energy
The demand for energy has increased tremendously in the last few decades in Pakistan while much more increase in demand could be anticipated. Currently, the energy sources of Pakistan consist of oil, natural gas, hydropower and nuclear power. 35% of total commercial energy supply is produced by oil, 29% by natural gas and 29.9% by hydropower. Increasing cost of fossil fuels and environmental concerns have resulted in more focus towards alternate energy sources. Planners and economists are now finding ways to find new low cost energy sources. Wind and Solar energies are the possible clean and low cost renewable resources emerging in the country. Not only the import of fossil fuels will be reduced due to wind energy but electricity will also be reached to those living in remote areas.

The first wind power generation plant of 50 MW was constructed in December 2012 while the production was started in 2013. The wind power potential in Pakistan that has been identified in Sindh and Baluchistan is more than 50,000 MW while Punjab has potential of producing almost 1,000 MW. A survey conducted by Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) shows that there is a lot of potential for Wind Energy on the coastline, especially in Sindh. Gharo is one such place that has been studied by PMD for feasibility and technicality with respect to wind power and it is considered to be excellent for this purpose. In recent years, the government has completed several small projects to demonstrate that wind energy is viable in the country for instance, 85 micro turbines have been placed to power 356 homes in Mirpur Sakro, Sindh. And as another example, 40 wind turbines have been installed to power 111 homes in Kund Malir, Baluchistan. Another 18,000 acres of land has been bought by Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) for wind power
