1) Description
When I first look at the image, the very first thing that attract me are the large rectangular rough-cut eroded stones, which seem light ivory brown in the sunshine. Many stones are in this set —— Two stones next to each other standing vertically with a gap and one stone placed on the top of the two. While some stones are standing alone and others which are quite smaller than those are lying on the ground. As a whole, most of the stones form two incomplete circles, one inside the other, with many small stones lying at the center. The gap between two standing stones in set of the outer circle is wider than that of the inner circle. The stonehenge is next to a path.
2) Summary
Stonehenge as the most well known megalithic momument of Europe, lies in southern England. This unique structure consists of two concentric post-and-linted circles, which is surrounded by a ditch. The outer circle with a nearly 100-feet diameter, composed of sarsen megaliths. While the inner circle consist of bluestones, encircling a horsehoe of thilithons. These megaliths are quite heavy that each weighs 45 to 50 tons. Heel-stone is at the center of the henge, which is lying to the east. It shows where the sun rises on the summer solstice, making it possible to be an astronomical observatory and a solar calendar.
3) Research
Instead of being created by alien or magic, Stonehenge was made by thousands of labors. This theory was put forward by Professor Mike
