The structure of the website contains a background, which is a picture of the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground sports) The website contains many tabs on top of the page consisting of sponsors, the AFL teams logos and also a navigation tab to video, news, stats and many more. In the near centre of the page, there’s a massive rectangle that changes every couple seconds with basically the headlines of the AFL in the current. This consists of a picture, a short title and a small description. Near the bottom of the page there’s a list of recent information or events related to the organisation, some of these news are included with videos. The language the website contains and the articles produced and always written in 3rd person, unless using quotations from the interviewers in interviews. Depends on some articles, some may be considered biased against a certain team, player or even coach. The tone they express on the website and it’s articles, are mostly trying to impress the audience. The website’s articles and headlines, has a number of puns and slangs. There are many quotations marks in this website, mainly because they take interviews and take the quotes that the interviewers use.
There are many images and videos related to the AFL community. These images come in various sizes on the front page and with information. These images are either used for player information/stats; images are used for team icons and many more. The website does contain pictures that have their own tone, this may be due to a topic, article or headline. The background of the AFL website is a great faded picture of the MCG (Melbourne Cricket and Ground field) the background doesn’t show much, but a packed oval, but with the amount of information in the website, doesn’t really grab
