The physical features of Africa affect transportation, trade and commerce, agriculture, relations between countries in Africa, relations between African countries and countries outside the continent. They also affect the spread of Africa cultures, the spread of disease and conflict. The physical features of Africa affect transportation because if there are extreme hills or deserts, some cars would not be able to pass and you would have to walk to get to go to where you wanted. The physical features of Africa affect trade and commerce because if the country was completely surrounded by countries, trade could have been more difficult. Having the water, trade is easier. Africa would be able to ship goods out to other places. The physical features of Africa affect agriculture because people could want to grow a certain type of plant but if they live in the desert, they cannot grow a crop that loves water. The people of the town would have to adapt to their surroundings and grow what is locally available and what with flourish. The physical features of Africa affect relations between countries in Africa because being able to travel to another country or having a small amount of distance would help the countries get along and base off each other and work together. These countries need to be able to have access to other countries if they needed to and having geographical barriers that block the other countries would not help that. The physical features of Africa affect relations between African countries and countries outside the continent because the location of Africa allows other countries to be able to fly or take advantage of the water to go there. Africa gives the other countries of the world easy access because of the fact that is it on water.
