Why are Africans so dying so young? It because of the famous American diet. Over the years Africans The average American diet consists of fats and sugars. In the past Africans were known for eating fresh home-grown ingredients that contained little fat and sugar. The obesity rate was low and so were the health problems. Now there diets took a sharp turn in the opposite direction and they developed American eating trends. The American diet consists of nothing but sugar, carbs, and fats.
Americans are known to have unhealthy diets. They also have the highest obesity rate in the world. The average American diet consists of nothing but carbs, sugar, fat and processed foods. Unhealthy foods are considered to be a part of nearly every americans daily diet. The average American only exercises for about 2 hours a week. Americans are also known to have diseases related to obesity.
Obesity puts one at a higher risk of developing non-communicable diseases such as heart disease , cancer, diabetes, and osteoarthritis. It also increases the risk of cardio-respiratory related death. Obesity causes a higher risk of contracting cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer, which will eventually lead to early deaths. In Egypt obesity is not defined by social class. Fast food in Egypt is considered a luxury that only wealthy people can afford. Poorer people tend to eat things that are filled with carbs like potatoes and bread. “For those who can afford it, a burger from one of Egypt’s growing number of burger chains can be delivered to your home within an hour.” said dietician Dr Sherine el Shimi. This makes fast food even more convenient for people to obtain. It also caused people to go further away from traditional eating
