So many families know of their heritage, just because of their old or even new family traditions. The Italian holiday “Befana” is a holiday like Christmas. But instead of Santa Claus delivering presents on Christmas, it's an old witch delivering presents to kids 10 days after Christmas. Another great example is the African culture, where the broom goes back to slavery. Since they were not able to marry, jumping the broom symbolized their union. Today, African American culture is still jumping the broom after vows are read.
