No man or woman is considered superior enough to be another’s master. In the two articles they both talk about slaves and how they were bought and sold. The article “An African country reckons with its history of selling slaves” written by Washington post differentiates and is equate in many ways compared to “Time Machine…” written by Northrup. Slavery was seen as respectful amongst the whites; furthermore, there are many things alike about the two passages.
These two passages are affiliated in many ways.
