CPA or also known as Continuous Partial Attentions is the representation of an individual’s inability in a complete attention due its variation in focus. CPA is considered a focusing problem in which has been caused by modern technology. CPA is one of the main factors that affect in nowadays communities’, daily lives. This expresses the state of interacting with everything but not providing a proper focus on each statement or situation. CPA’s purpose is to be in a constant connection with everything, anytime and anywhere. This is produced by the desire of human beings to be effectively on task with any type of opportunity, or contacts on any given time and place. It has become such an essential situation for the contemporary era because mankind is facing what is known as the Age of Interruption. The age of interruption consists on distributing a proper attention because of the several distractions produced by technology, like social media or virtual multitasking. “All we do now is interrupt each other or ourselves with instant messages, email, spam or cell phone rings.”( Thomas L. For the present’s society, it is important to be connected, make and effort to be informed, and be busy because it represents activity, aliveness and recognition.
