Japan is a very interesting country. Japan is a very cultural country, with their different religions, sports, and many holidays. They have a really interesting history and how they built up their economy.

The native people of Japan are called the Ainu. They lived in the Northern islands of Hokkaido. Their language was one like no other and it did not have a name, but some people called their language ainu after what the people were called. There are probably less than 15,000 Ainu people around today. The Ainu people lived on areas in Japan until the Yayoi people came and forced them to move in A.D. or B.C.
