One account being when he led the assault on the Siege of Yorktown and made General Cornwallis surrender. The advantage that Hamilton gave the colonists helped them win the revolution and declare freedom from England. Alexander Hamilton is an important person in our history who helped shape the United States of America and left behind his legacy so we will remember him today. The musical accurately depicts the life of Hamilton. Even with things that aren’t historically correct, it still shows what is needed to understand him. Hamilton being on the frontline helping win the revolution or as a man with strong political interest and impact. Personally, I loved watching the musical. It kept me well entertained with the amazingly written songs. Of course there are positives and negatives with historical films, a negative being everything can’t be perfectly accurate. As a positive, the style that the musical is in keeps people interested without it feeling like class work or notes.
