There was a mouse named algernon which had an operation done on him to make him smarter Charlie gordon was competing with the other kids in ms kinnians class.algernon and charly races in a maze and he kept on losing.when he got the operation done on him he kept on getting smarter and smarter. Charley kept on doing the test and he kept on getting smarter,but he kept on losing against algernon charlie got mad and said that he never wanted to race with algernon again. And ran of when he left he did not go
