Alice Walker was born February 9, 1944. Alice was raised by Willie Lee Walker & Minnie Lou Tallulah Grant, Alice had several siblings & was raised in Eatonton, GA. Alice Walker starting writing at the age of eight, Alice suffered from an eye injury because she got shot in her left eye with a bb pellet. Alice was inspired by Rosa Parks.
