During the 1920’s segregation made African Americans feel excluded from everyday life. In the memoir “All God’s Chillun’ Got Eyes” by E. Franklin Frazier his goal is to try and forget about racial segregation to get his eyes fixed, however, it is very difficult since he is surrounded by it.
