Pain is something humans do to each other. It’s quite common in the world but sometimes it’s too far. How humans are cruel because of differences or just for no reason like Elie’s dad. To put that aside, throughout history, wars break out between humans killing millions of innocent civilians in the surrounding. During the Holocaust, Nazi Germany hated the Jews with such a passion they wanted to wipe the group out. Camps were made to put them in and later they killed them in massive groups. In the novel night, Elie was shocked he even ” I pinched myself.” Many innocent people were being killed “men, women, and children were being burned and that the world kept silent?” That wasn’t the last time something awful happened. Several years later the Rwanda genocide about 800,000 people murdered in a span of 100 days. War was the reason, so many people died both in the Holocaust and the Rwanda Genocide. People were so busy being heartless and starting war over something like certain group is better than the other. It is crystal clear that humans are inherently cruel deep down inside. They damage and start with each other human that will only result in mass genocide. That is simply part of human nature,
