Alpha S-16: A New Life

“Kill, Smoke, Money.” That was the motto of Alpha S-16, the dangerous gang in our city.

It all started in an empty parking lot near a park late at night. I was walking home after finishing work when a group of gang members started surrounding me and beating me up. They all had ski masks on and a tattoo on their wrist. I was gritting my teeth to avoid screaming when one of the guys pulled out a gun, he held it up to my head and proclaimed me to hand him over all my money. When I said I had no cash on me the guy pulled the trigger then another tall guy yelled “DON’T.” I was in so much pain that I could barely get up, but I eventually grew to enjoy beating others.

When I was little, I used to live in Denmark. My parents weren’t that rich, they struggled getting money as a matter of fact even my relatives were poor. My mom died of cancer when I was 8 and my dad died in a car accident when I was

I was a senior gang member when I decided to leave the group. They said I had too much information about their gang so I couldn't leave but I left anyway. I had made my final decision to move out of the country and start a new life. Alpha S-16 had reached my house but luckily no one was around because my parents were dead and I wasn’t close with the rest of my family. I had moved to Argentina for education at a University. I met a girl that I really liked, dated her for 1 year then ended up marrying her. After I got a job, a year later I had a son. I wanted to raise him right and be a good father. I went back to my old gang city. I wasn’t scared to see any gang people because I changed a lot, I wore different clothes, lost a lot of weight and most of the old gang members were either dead or in jail. I wanted to help the young teens who joined Alpha S-16 but couldn’t get out because once you join it's really hard to leave even when you really want to. Everyone does something wrong in life but the good people always
