There are three major ideas of altruism, and one central idea of egoism. Moreover, everyone has a choice in life, it all depends on whether someone needs to be egoistic or altruistic in this society. But think about it if there is a person that remains egoistic how is society going to be successful? How is society going to connect with the people that are egoistic if all they care about is themselves? Put yourself into Martin Luther’s perspective, he succeeded in life without being egoistic all the time. Martin Luther King wanted to help people out in his community. Mother Teresa helped the people in need, they both became a public figure for the whole world. Why not just be like Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa?
