The Third Amendment guarantees privacy for citizens. It states that soldiers may not be boarded in houses without the owner’s consent. This applies to times of peace and war.
In this article, it describes Amazon’s new service, Amazon Key. Amazon Key will be a new kind of delivery service to make shopping more convenient. The service requires Amazon Prime users to purchase a Wifi connected lock and camera, which would allow the delivery person to unlock the door without any keys or codes. Amazon also said that the lock would be able to let in guests, housekeepers, or other company.
The fact that people will now be able to let themselves into homes without the owner present raises some concerns. The connection between this article and the Third Amendment is the question on whether or not unauthorized personnel could enter the Amazon Key owner’s house without their consent. If so, the constitutionality of Amazon’s new service could be at stake.

Previously, the candidate with the most votes would be president, and the candidate with the second most votes would become vice president. Now, the president and vice president run together, and later the Electoral College votes on who should take the position. In Kenya, riots and protests have ensued due to their presidential election. It has been announced that voting will not occur in areas of opposition “until further notice.” This article connects to the 12th Amendment because it writes about the election in Kenya. Because citizens are not voting, a president and vice president can not be elected. Voting has also been delayed because of clashes between protesters and police. Kenya is separated into 47 counties, of which four have had voting postponed. If Kenya were to use an Electoral College, all of its counties must not be prevented from
