The most famous game for Americans is American Football. American football start when teams from china played game called “Tsu Chu” to honor their emperor’s birthday. This type of games go back more than 11th century in England when some boys played a game with an megascopic cow bladder. Football in England became officially a game played in stadiums not in the streets in 1623. Moreover, players were not allowed to touch the ball with anything except their feet. In the same time, Irish teams allowed players to hit the ball with their hands. Biggest changes in the game happened at one of the college in 1823. So it was a more violent society. American football “was and still is a more violent sport than football soccer, so people liked to play it. it was “sanctioned violence” because it was in the form of a game. Eventually the sport evolved into Gridiron American football as we know it today, and is still pretty violent though use of body armor, helmet and tights get belittled outside US. Many people feel compelled to play or watch games that were invented in where you live, so for example "NFL Gridiron in America, Sumo in Japan.. while both these activities are not popular outside the country they were invented", there is a culture feeling of compelled within to play or watch them, plus you have been brought up around it. Stoppages, “Frowned upon in other countries, in America the relentless stop start nature of Gridiron allows people to do other things whether being at home or watching a game on TV, get to eat, chat to people, general things”. Body weight is a big factor why American football is specifically popular in America. It may have something to do with the type of football they play, in my opinion I think Gridiron American football is more advanced that football soccer (sportsknowhow.com). There are many famous players here some of them. The first one is Russell Wilson. second one Peyton Manning he is in Indianapolis Colts team. Third one Tom Brady in New England Patriots
