The Libertarians believe in three main items: personal liberty, economic liberty and the right to secure liberty ("Libertarian Party Platform"). Personal liberty has to do with having full rights over one’s body. If one wants to use alcohol that is their choice. They oppose government censorship and government spying on its citizens. They do not feel the government has the right discriminate based on gender or sexual orientation in issues of marriage or adoption ("Libertarian Party Platform"). Government has no right to regulate abortion. They believe in repealing all crimes without a victim like drug crimes, and are strong believers in the right to bear arms, and protect one’s self and property. Citizens should have the right to use their property as they see fit as long as no one is harmed in doing so.
