What do you know about the American Revolution? What do you think was the most important? In my opinion, the most important battle was “The Battle of Yorktown”. I think that for many reasons. Let me explain.

First, I believe “The Battle of Yorktown” is the most important because the British surrendered. In one of the articles I read it stated, “That day came on October 19, 1781, when the British General Charles Cornwallis surrendered his troops in Yorktown.” This explains how the British were unable and unstable to battle again.

Next, the Americans had more people. On history.com, I read that, “Washington’s 2,500 troops in New York were joined by a French army of 4,000 men.” This shows that the Americans had more people to help them fight,
