Is a 81 y.o. Hispanic woman with a recent adjustment disorder. Pt described “episodes of stroke symptoms” and several hospitalizations since January 2024. Pt reported that her body reacts to stressors and other illnesses by displaying stroke symptoms. They r/o other illnesses and referred to therapy by the hospital due to suspected psychosomatic after r/o everything medically. Pt reported the onset of symptoms when she downsized her life to live with her son and his family on a different side of town. Pt was adamant that she has since adjusted to living with her son by creating friendships, walking along the track, and establishing boundaries. Pt plans to move into a retirement community to regain independence. Pt plans to apply to Amerigroup
