The Article, Amnesty, could be rated a four, it is a good Argumentative article. It perceives a key point from the Catholic point of view about how to handle immigration, both, legal or illegal. Immigrants are becoming next door neighbors and the possibility that some of them may have experienced horrific past experiences that may have been considered criminal, is a reality. Some have endured child molestation, murders and human trafficking. It is vital that the government control the entry of immigrants by ensuring background checks and administrating with follow up period. The article intended for its’ readers to view the humane side of the illegal immigration, and they want to obtain a safer life for themselves and their families. The immigrants value their family, even though, it was a greater risk to their lives. They were willing to face the consequences. Like, Maria, in the article she continues to provide for her family and wanted to get from the poor conditions, in their country, knowing that she continues to live illegally in the States. The immigrants that are present in the States should receive some compassion and concern from the people that live in the States. There must always be proper documentation for any immigrant. The issues that focus on illegal immigrants continuing to stay in the United States to provide for their families as long they keep their legal status maintained under the laws. Christian hold true and believe to do the right thing for the right people, but not to continue allowing illegal immigrants to come take control of the country.
