Plot Summary:
When Calvin O’Keefe, Meg Murray and Charles Wallace Murry meet Mrs Whatsit, Who and Which they are sent on a journey to find Meg and Charles Wallace’s long lost father, who disappeared from earth for unknown reasons. When first following the concept of a tesseract, that the closest distance from to points is not a straight line(essentially they teleported), they find themselves on a distant planet called Camazotz, where everyone is controlled by a giant brain known as IT. This planet has been taken over by “The Great Black Thing” and holds Meg’s father captive. They manage to release Dr Murray, but in the escape, Charles Wallace is left behind, to be captured by IT. After regaining energy, Meg is able to return to Camazotz, where she manages to free CW with the one thing it doesn’t have- Love. Finally, the family is reunited, but the dreaded “black thing” still remains, to slowly conquer the universe.
