The first argument I found was a proponent for ABA for autism treatment named Tameika Meadows. The argument was children with autism need to learn to do basic functions by any means possible. She asserts ABA has worked well for her child and can allow children to make friends and preform basic tasks like buttoning their shirts or speaking. The most persuasive point was autistic children need to grow up to be their own advocates and to look after themselves after their parents are gone.
