Supporting children from an early age helps prevent problems later on in life which means they can have a better outcome in education. Working in an inclusive way means that every child and young person needs are supported and that practitioners encourage participation. It also means engagement with the children and their families. Maintaining confidentiality means understanding that confidentiality is paramount in helping to build trust and confidence, this helps a child have a better outcome in life as they will grow up being able to trust individuals. Multi-agency workers knows that everyone’s ideas and opinions are important, they know what needs to be done if a child needs support. Working together as a multi-agency team such as a practitioner and a speech therapist is a more specialised way of working with the child. If a child has a speech difficulty then the practitioner can tell the speech therapist what the child’s need are. This can deliver a better outcome for the child as the speech therapist will know the child’s needs so that they can work together on developing that child’s
